Contemporary Cupping

~What is Cupping?

Cupping is the oldest and most globally practiced medical treatment in human history. This remarkable therapy uses negative pressure, instead of the compression of the tissue. Suction cup therapy is a traditional, time-honored treatment that remains favored by many people throughout the world because it is safe, comfortable, and effective for multiple health issues. By creating suction and negative pressure, this therapy releases rigid soft tissue, drains excess fluids and toxins, loosens adhesions, lifts connective tissue, and brings blood flow to stagnant skin and muscles.

~Benefits of cupping therapy:

Expands the blood vessels of the skin, causing an increase of:

*blood circulation

*skin temperature

*metabolism within the skin tissues

*functioning of sweat and sebaceous glands

*cutaneous respiration

*nutrition supply to the tissue

      2.   Withdraws stagnant blood from skin and removes poisons.

      3.    Accelerates the secretion of salts, sebaceous matter and the excretion of water.

      4.    Strengthens the renewing power of the skin and its resistance to various external                                conditions.

1.Stimulation of the subcutaneous capillary vessels activates and expands the blood vessels within the muscles.

2.This action increases blood flow and removes congestion in joints, attachments and other various musculoskeletal structures.

3.Suction facilitates the excretion of lactic acids and toxins from within the muscles and its surrounding support.

4.Post cupped muscles maintain increased temperature and fluid facilitation for much longer than with traditional therapy.

Circulatory System

1.One principal of the healing effects that derives from supping is in the cleansing of the blood. Cleaning the blood improves circulation- good circulation is paramount to optimal health.

2.Cupping dramatically improves circulation of blood and lymph making metabolic processes more active within minutes, and cumulative with continued treatments.

3.Cupping cleans the body’s cardiovascular system so disease doesn’t have a chance to develop. Where disease already exists, cupping cleans the system so it can better fight and recover from the disease.

4.Purifies the PH of blood by removing dead debris, increasing red and white blood cell activity, and altering the PH chemistry of the body fluids from acidic to alkaline or neutral.

5.Abnormal systolic pressure normalizes and pulse rate returns back to normal.

6.It’s very beneficial for hardened arteries by gently stretching and breaking up the micro adhesions that contribute to the rigidity of the arterial walls.

Nervous System

1.The pulling gentle action stimulates the sensory nerves of the skin.

2.The reduction of hypersensitive pain affects the areas of direct application, as well as the area the relevant nerves effect.

3.Treatments of the posterior central line (Para spinal nerves) and the sympathetic nerves beside the central line have a powerful effect on both the autonomic nervous system and the various organs under its control.

4.Effective against general malaise, depression, headaches, anxiety, body pain, fatigue, as well as endogenous chronic diseases like high blood pressure, neuralgia, and rheumatism.

Digestive System

1.The stretching actions on the abdominal regions, stimulates the inside and walls of the digestive organs, stimulates peristalsis, secretion of digestive fluids. Thereby, strengthening overall digestion, elevating the uptake and absorption of nutrients, increasing digestive fluids.

2.Overall excellent effects upon chronic gastrointestinal disorders and the constitution as a whole.

3.The digestive system is affected even during back treatments by stimulating the spinal and autonomic nervous system.

1.Chronic stubborn joint conditions are reduced and resolved most effectively.

2.The stretching and pulling of the connective structures allow a much greater range of movement, along with the opening up of the joint capsule to loosen and release stagnation which compounds the general compaction and stiffness often associated with stubborn and orthopedic conditions.

3.Disorganized fascia structures can be directly restructured to further support the healing process. Increases blood and lymph activity within the joint as well as stimulating activity and the secretion of synovial fluids.

~What are the discoloration marks?

When circulation is sluggish or compromised in an injured or diseased area of the body, insufficient oxygen gets to the cells, and there is a local build-up of waste products. When the skin is pressed, the blanching that occurs is slow to fade. The discolorations are not bruises! The marks fade from hours up to 2 weeks, depending on the amount of stagnation. The length of time it takes for it to fade indicates the severity and toxicity of the patient’s condition, as well as the patient’s follow-up activities. The more treatments received, the less the marks will occur.Type your paragraph here.
